A recent article I read got me thinking about errorless learning.

So you want your dog to meet and greet sheep.

A strong recall is important because it grows your relationship with your dog and builds an important positive herding skill, calling your dog off of livestock.

This is your chance to ask my star student anything about her experience training her dog to herd using positive methods or working with me long distance.

My dog is very uncomfortable with the pressure from the sheep and her response is to dive in. It feels like she is very anxious and constantly trying to overcompensate.

It’s that magic moment when your dog is introduced to stock. Or should I say that it’s that terrifying moment?
