Baling hay and tractor troubles
It has been a busy week on our farm. The grass was tall, the weather was sunny, and the time was right for making hay. Hay is cut, allowed to dry, and then baled as feed for the winter or whenever water is short and vegetation stops growing. We currently have 250 pairs, cows with calves, and a handful of sheep on our farm and they eat a lot of pasture. We make hay on some of the fields and later pasture off the regrowth.
